With a Masters degree (with distinction) in 3D Computer Animation from Bournemouth University’s world-renowned National Center for Computer Animation - ranked second in Europe and third internationally - and a Masters degree (with distinction) in Fine Art from the UK’s University for the Creative Arts, Emanuel has a deep understanding of both the artistic and technical expression of animated film.
Prior to joining Fudge as Creative Director, Emanuel worked for five years at Coca-Cola, managing animation production for one of the world's largest consumer brands and providing him with an opportunity to work with some of Europe’s foremost creative agencies and motion designers. In that role, Emanuel helped direct marketing campaigns for Sprite, Fanta, Nestea and Powerade.
A practicing contemporary artist of international recognition, Emanuel represented Malta at the Art Biennale for young artists from Europe and the Mediterranean in 2009 and had his first solo exhibition at the Embassy of Malta in Paris in 2013. In 2012 Emanuel won the first edition of 'Divergent Thinkers', a competitive art exhibition for young emerging artists in Malta, and was awarded space for a solo exhibition and a six week residency at the Center for the Creative Arts in Virginia.
